Princessed was founded in the mid-90s by high schoolers in a suburban basement outside of DC. Influenced by the urgent, DIY energy of riot grrrl & alt rock icons like Babes in Toyland and the Lunachicks, they processed teen angst while poking fun at the patriarchy.
